My project is about I Ching, which also calls Book of changes. It is an ancient Chinese divination text and the oldest of the Chinese classics. My father really likes to study the ancient method to divine things. This is the reason why I wanted to created this project.
Unlike Tarot, I Ching is structured on the 64 hexagrams And each hexagram is made of 2 materials.

In the animation, all the elements are actually everywhere in our lives.
Each symbol has its meaning. When combining two elements, new meanings will be generated.
During the creating process, In order to remove the gap, I tried to combine I Ching with many styles to seek the best expression. Finally, I transformed them to modern vector graphic style illustrations and made Motion graphics to combine with the over 5000 years classic literature.
